Lonan3
I once had a parking ticket on which the parking attendant (or whatever you want to call him - feel free!) managed to get the registration wrong by one digit. I never heard anything more about it, but couldn't help wondering whether some other poor sod had to pay for my error. You can imagine how guilty I felt
Jacqueline
I got my first ticket for ages yesterday. Not sure what to do. Any advice?

loaf
Do they still increase the fine if you delay payment?
Alex
Not sure if this has happened yet - but they're putting the fine up to 80 quid with a discount of 50% if you pay within two weeks or something like that. Never seen anyone getting pursued through the courts for non-payment though - and there are thousands unpaid.
Jacqueline
I've lived a law abiding life up till now. I rather felt like being a bit of a rebel. Not 80 squids worth of a rebel though. The worst thing is the ticket was written only 2 mins before I got back to my car. Ah well. /gets out chequebook :-(
