manxy Posted January 11, 2011 Share Posted January 11, 2011 Saw this recently and just goes to show the immense force of the floods I did notice that one of the comments mentioned was about people being drowned in their cars. Apparently they were unable to open their windows as they had automatic windows and were short circuited by the water. Maybe this is something the car manufacturers might want to have another look at? To those who've volunteered and helped out people who were in need or in trouble, good job and to those who've lost friends and relations, I'm sorry for your loss.
