Rowlf is gay? This is the kind of information people should flock to Manxforums to get, although now I'm curious as to how you pick up on Rowlf as being gay.

Apropos of nothing: as a child, I used to have nightmares about Kermit the frog.

Rowlf is a muppet (!)

Big Bird is gay feathers, big feet, tall. Hmmm maybe more 'cross dresser' than gay

Bert and Ernie never got on, so no thought of them ever sett;ing down together.

Statler and Waldorf - now yes! I COULD see them married!

captain pugwash was definitely gay.

As for the pink teletubby, well enough said.

Pugwash was always on about 'Roger' the cabin boy

and there isn't a pink tubby, Po is red! (So I am reliably informed) Tinky Winky (Blue with a handbag) was the gay one.

"There was Captain Pugwash and his rentboy nicknamed "Roger the Cabin Boy" along with Seaman Staines, "Crusty" Sheets the Baker and a dubiousely named sailor called "Mister Mate"...

Mister Mate? Oh! you must mean Master Bates!

Ignorant Philistine!

None of those characters appeared in either the books or the TV series.

They were made up (I believe Richard Digance claimed the 'credit' for them) and woefully dirty and disgusting minds like yours were happy to believe that were used!

Shame on you and tour sordid mind!

Tintin was pretty gay

I think so. My dad used to love him. Is my Dad gay?

Lonan3

Okay... that's enough! Criticise anything you like - but Noggin the Nog remains sacrosanct!

How were they being criticised?

Ha ha maybe :-P

Nah, Tintin was pretty cool, I reckon he loved him in the way that one should love a cartoon character - innocently...... :sorcerer:
