Saddam kept his country in line all right. Pity about invading two of his neighbours with great loss of life on all sides. Still, he kept his country in line through all of that. Well, apart from the bit where he used WMD on one of his country's minorities, that kept them in line all right. Errr, is it just me...? Oh yes, it's you. Could you truthfully say the situation is better now than it was then? Do you really think the Coalition has the answer? The Frogs squealing because a few hundred were subject to an amateur commando raid; their idea of a solution is to drop bombs on another continent! The UK press giving untold column inches over the 7/7, the English knee jerk reaction to that was to shoot the wrong guy on a train.
