Chinahand
Sadly it looks like another incident of thuggery: MR story. Part of the centre of Castletown remains closed off this morning (Thursday) as police plan to continue forensic examination. It’s after a two man fight in Malew Street yesterday evening which left one man in hospital with serious head injuries. ... A 42 year-old local man remains in hospital this morning and a 35 year-old local man is in custody.

x-in-man
Shops remain closed in Castletown. They are expected to remain so for the next 15 years or until subject to a change of use application.
Freya Q
There isnt a lot new about men fighting. Its genetic as I understand it. Testosterone and all that stuff. People do get hurt though and it looks as if, this time, someone has been badly injured. I hope he makes a quick recovery. Castletown itself can be a little worrying though. I have sometimes felt intimidated walking over the square in the evening and on more than one occasion Ive felt so glad I was with my hubby rather than being alone when walking past really drunk and obnoxious people outside the Union pub.
