An economic crisis accompanied by regional conflicts and financial meltdown equals global war, which is the tried and tested method to solve any world meltdown. Whether we like it or not the major powers that make the decisions in the world have, it seems, decided on a course of action that will bring us to the brink, it's hold onto your tin hats time.... It's either lies or propaganda, that much has been proven over the past few years. Everything has an angle or a motive, and anything to do with Iran is definitely so. And of course, the issues that the media chooses to focus on are where most of the problems with the corporate owned media lies. The dissemination of lies is not a common thing. You are right about propaganda though. I don't mean outright lies as much as the 'weapons of mass distruction' type bullsh*t. Fabricated stories devised to sell a particular agenda. Besides, there was no need to do so. If the government claims that the intelligence services have evidence of weapons and politicians claim that invasion is the best thing then the media will just run with it.
