Berthing trials at Liverpool? When's that due to be finished?

this must be the time when she is due for her first service  and checkover , perhaps they can get the cavitation problem with the props and vibration sorted out as well ,  hopefully some of the  Hyundai engineers will be involved ,then we might see a bit more speed from her without wanting to shake herself to pieces , other than that she performs well  in most sea conditions  only when entering a shallow harbour with no protection from wind and weather does there seem to be a problem who would have thought that now ?

I've really never noticed that vibration. I've sailed on her several times now, and she's always been as smooth as silk. Nothing approaching the ever present shake, rattle and roll on the Ben anyway. Has it been acknowledged that there is an issue?

The Manx newspapers report that McDonalds on Peel Road has closed ……………….. as they have run out of stock and are awaiting delivery. How many other eating establishments will have run out of fresh produce?

Domino's

Pizza Hut

limited Bread in the spars

Thankfully we have the Manxman on its way back soon - hopefully full of freight and produce

Seems the Armslength Steam Packet want to change the Sea Services Agreement to use the Arrow as backup and get rid of the Ben. Assuming the Arrow can't take passengers and their vehicles just freight, where would it leave the island if the Manxman had a major fault or god forbid collision damage?

Can you see the headlines if the Manxman was out of action TT week with just the Arrow and the Seacat and even a few days of rough weather to boot? Guess it'll be the Armslength's problem and not governments.

Would like to know who in Government will be making the decision. My money is on Any-Excuse Allinson.
