It was berthed on the Victoria Pier during the Winter months, used in emergency. I know people that work on her! Earlier this year it went into dry dock for refurbishment prior to restarting its summer season.

Where else are they going to keep it given that Ben will be tied up on the berth usually used by Mannanan over winter 20 minutes ago, Banker said: Like every single year so nothing new is it No. It normally stays in Douglas on the Victoria Pier link span berth. Just goes off for annual service/overhaul and inspection just before seasonal service starts. If Ben can’t go, and if weather is fair, it’s been known to venture out.

Declan
Do the Steam Packet actually have a timetable on-line? I mean one you can look at and see what their schedule is over the coming months? Not one where you have to complete a form and receive a selection of times for some sailings, but one where I can see all the sailings to Liverpool till the end of the year and another with all the sailings to Heysham. You know a timetable. Edited September 11, 2023 by Declan

Just this https://www.steam-packet.com/timetables?__SPCoWinID=e15b823b-fe03-4135-8388-0c57e1df12b9 which serves a different purpose.
philwebs
For aircraft delays I understand there is some compensation, especially if other arrangements need to be made. Does this apply to the Steam Packet? I am aware of people having to re-book and stay overnight as they are relying on an on time service. I assume nothing.
