It appears though that it has gone back from the nighttime to the daytime sailings again this week. It does seem a somewhat extended bedding in period. Hour late leaving this morning. The swap was for more officer training. It was announced a week ago. Think it’s mentioned on here. Full takeover of both rotations was scheduled for mid October. Haven’t seen any announcement that it’s been put back.
Amadeus
Are they having a party or did the captain forget to switch the lights off before he went to bed?

They've realised how bad the Corpy lights on the Prom are and are helping out with extra illumination. 3

For the first few miles the crew have jobs to do outside which necessitates good lighting. The new type of LEDs are very bright arnt they? John Wright
Mx is on the daytime Heysham run today. Departed more or less on time. Steamed for 50 minutes at about 17kts. Since then she’s been doing 5-7kts, for 2 hours, and is less than half way to Heysham. Nice engine room. “The Manxman appears to have been travelling slower than usual on her way to Heysham this morning. The Steam Packet Company has confirmed to Manx Radio she's experiencing a 'technical issue with the propulsion system” 4
