I must admit that this was my first thought. Manxman could surely use Victoria Pier again as it did a few weeks ago, at least at most states of the tide. I assume there is a reason why Arrow can't discharge there. Perhaps incompatible with the very heavies?

This morning, both the Ben and Manxman were in the harbour so Arrow had to wait

Happening about what? Obviously you don’t pay tax in a country you’re not resident in

Fake news we are told

That’s not exactly what Thompson said. He used his words very carefully to imply something he didn’t actually say.

Mone and Barrowman could take lessons.

Yes, that's why I directed him to that page. It's all there from first report to denial.

That’s not actually what Thompson said.

I know we abandoned the "Holywood in the Irish Sea" scheme sometime ago but the whole Steampacket fiasco is turning into an Ealing comedy along the lines of "Carry On Shipping".

Can almost see the casting now;

Peter Butterworth and Jim Dale as ministers

Kenneth Williams and Charles Hawtrey as the management

Sid James and Bernard Bresslaw as union reps

At least it'd be entertaining.
