John Wright
Interesting news for Heysham from Stena. They’ve just had the keel laying ceremony for the first of two of their New Max class freight Ro-Ro. Both to cover Heysham Belfast. It comes after Stena & Peel Ports have signed a port use agreement for the rest of the 21st century. It’s significant for us in terms of their size. Heysham will have to be well dredged. They’re significantly longer, 147 metres as opposed to 133 metres, broader, and match the SPCo draft. I’m sure Stena have more clout to make sure that Peel keep Heysham navigable.

Still capped at £2, or at least it was a few weeks ago when I caught it from the airport. Remember that here? Didn't last long before they removed the cap and put the fares up to higher than they were before. Bastards!

Is that not UK wide? Tend to just get on the bus and tap your card these days as it's just a flat £2.
