TheTool Posted May 8, 2005 Share Posted May 8, 2005 Just wondering does anyone know if Laxey Commissioners and Ramsey Commissioners are joining together, i am seeing the ramsey commissioners vans in laxey working on houses and was wondering is this the first step towards them joining in the new government reform that is going ahead. Lonan3 Posted May 8, 2005 Share Posted May 8, 2005 As far as I'm aware the commissioners in Laxey, Lonan and Maughold are completely opposed to the local govt reforms as proposed. The three have initiated something called the Garff Iniative which means that they have combined their resources with regard to rubbish collection and various other matters.
