I see the wall at the Gooseneck got demolished again three weeks ago too, an even more thorough job this time.  The repair from last time must have lasted all of a month.

The problem with the Mountain Road is that folk crash in bad weather up there. That then ties up emergency resources to sort it out. Much better to prevent in the first place.

In a small jurisdiction it just wouldn’t be cost effective to throw the resources needed at it to keep it fully open all the time

hang on now,  many people don't have to wait for bad weather,  their bad driving allows them to crash in perfect visibility  on dry, 15 degree centrigrade, windless sunny days

I see the recently resurfaced  road from Mount Rule to West Baldwin and  Injebreck  has claimed a couple of drivers recently , its much too fast now and the accident last week  the car must have been practically air born  when you see the marks on the road and hedges ,      in this crazy world of GDPR a lot of accidents are happening and kept under the Radar

the road is no faster now than it was,  idiots just treat it like it is because the new surface gives them misplaced confidence in the grip and their skill levels
