Tarne
How else can they get paid extra for working bank holidays? 1
Kopek
I hope they remember to check/ replace the little reflectors on the side of the road. This would be quite cheap. The coke and beer cans, takeaway tubs etc. make pretty good road edge markers

dilligaf
Or worse still, one of those butchers at nobles I think you're getting confused between NHS and H&G
La Colombe
I just tried to go to Ramsey and it appears the mountain road is closed until the 23 April. Annoying. For an event that only encroaches on us for two weeks of the year, it doesn't half seem to encroach on us for a lot more than two weeks per year. May just keep some of those northerners in the north. More time for them to raise money for the precious courthouse!
woolley
It's closed over Easter again too, which can be a pain.
Guest
Does that still attract PH and Sat/Sun enhancements then???

Terminal
Don't try to go via Ballacraine to Ramsey. Too many hillbillies with 20 year old 4x4s, horse boxes and tractors going about their business getting in your way.
finlo
It's become a joke, the busiest road on island spends as much time closed as it does open.
Tarne
It's part of the DoI's "Don't cut our budget" strategy. They purposely close important roads for large periods of time because they can, and then go "Well, if you cut our budget they'll be shut for longer"
Tempus Fugit
It's part of the DoI's "Don't cut our budget" strategy. They purposely close important roads for large periods of time because they can, and then go "Well, if you cut our budget they'll be shut for longer" maybe the crashes per month by eejit drivers is above average so they are trying to level it out over the year so that it doesn't look bad
