Non-Believer
Just from my (probably failing) memory and involvement in a concurrent event. Plus - from the above TT course fatalities link provided above by Roger M, the MGP fatalities from that year on start being listed as early as 19th August 1996 which would then be the MGP practice week, rather than the later week(s) of August and early week of September? For instance, respected local competitor Danny Shimmin lost his life on 16th August 1997. foxdaleliberationfront
Why can't it all be consolidated in to one week? Saturday - Friday? It would help the incompetent get their Marshall numbers sorted

There's a speed limit until just above the Gooseneck, there's a restricted section at the bungalow and the limits begin again at Keppel Gate. I suspect we'll see a limit around Brandywell before long too as its a favourite with the lemmings. The whole unrestricted thing is IMHO a very overegged pudding. It isn’t restricted through the Bungalow, just coned. Brandywell is indeed an issue. But the DOI etc will just not have it. Apparently it is safe to barrel up Hailwood Rise, into a tightening Left hander leading into a tighter corner, with a junction on the right can legitimately turn right into, without any sort of speed control. But hey! What would the cops know?

Yes, I believe he has been taken on as some sort of media spokesperson. Andy talks a lot of pragmatic sense. It will be interesting to see how he gets on down there. Maybe he can help make a difference.

Mark Kerrush has quietly sliped into a similarly lucrative role!

If the first is true then given the DOI approach/record, he'll not last long. Differences not required or needed, thank you. Just compliance with the Departmental ethos of cock up after cock up and complete indifference to what it's imposing on the general public.

I think the DOI and I clashed on so many things over the years let’s just say there isn’t likely to be a desk waiting for me. I was never cut out to be a civil servant in any case. These jobs must be advertised on Jobtrain ? That said, apparently a post I read of the other week (which had some very odd parameters for what it was) had allegedly been created for a retiring senior police officer. When they didn’t want it, the post went away again. it is what it is.
