I've used FA electricity, out at work all day, been no heating or lighting to speak of, just the washing machine a couple of times a week and the cooker/oven for evening meal (if it's not been salad stuff).

Well you've got your solution now.  TDDB has obviously hooked into your meter.

Are your dishwasher/washing machines drawing hot water from the pre-heated domestic supply (boiler) or heating their water themselves via electricity? Especially on the hot wash programs they use loads if so. Tumble dryers can eat the stuff too :(

Beer fridges are acceptable use :D

But that still doesn't excuse MUA in any way shape or form.

I dunno.  Dishwasher about 18 months old.  Can't remember the set up.

Someone must be wired into yours and Finlo's supply.

Not wanting to argue but I’ve never heard of anyone crashing on the mountain road having suffered a heard attack.

The rest of your list can all be circumvented by driving to the conditions. ;-)

is a heard attack when the cows gang up on you ?  been a few of those in recent times.

Still 'pushing on' up the mountain

Whereabouts is that on the Mountain?

Got to pick your spots up there.  Like I will be tomorrow if the weather is decent.

EtA - looks like the Mountain Mile.  I have to say, the least likely place to speed.  Worst part of the trip over for me.
