Chappers
Please see the advert for my 05 Freelander V6 which has head gasket problems. Ideally i'd like to sell it but alternatively if any mechanics out there think they may be able to fix it for a reasonable price please let me know. Thanks http://www.manxads.com/?Title=Land-Rover-Freelander-V6-4x4&ListingId=80293
NeverAgain
So is it still English Reg?, if so how much tax is left and how much is needed for Manx test? Its possible they have replaced the head gaskets but it could be a crack in the block itself.

It`ll be cheaper to take it across on the boat and get a mobile mechanic to fix it than take it to a garage over here to fix.. I used these guys http://www.dave-mgrovermobilemechanic.co.uk/ Changed the headgasket on my car, changed timing belts, power steering belt, alternator belt, replaced water pump, changed oil, plugs, coolant flush and replace. This all cost £320, job was done in 3 hours. NO mechanic over here can beat that.
alibaba
That's pretty cheap. Cost me £650 to have a head gasket and water pump replaced on a VW transporter over here (though I was quoted £750 before the work was done).
Katman
Sounds quite reasonable at £1.00 as advertised, will you take 95p?
