John Wright
Not sure I like the way this "trial by social media" seems to be playing out...... especially when the indian hindu vegetarian student Sunil Tripathi (who has been missing for a month BTW) named by friends and having his picture from facebook emblazoned across the 411 (see the link from Chinahand above) media is not the one named by police who say the two bombers were Chechen students who are brothers and have identified/named one of them as Dzhokhar Tsarnaev If Sunil is alive, and the FBI have been looking for him since he went missing a month ago, his life and reputation have been rtuined by the social media false identification

I bet social media and the abundance of photo sharing helped find the two suspects.

Slim
Quite a night out on the town: http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2013/04/19/us/boston-marathon-manhunt.html?hp&_r=2& Armed robbery, shooting a policeman dead, carjacking and throwing explosives at police followed by a police shootout. The policy should have totally asked them to give up their weapons and have a nice chat just to stop the conspiracy nutters flapping.....
Lonan3
Surely they could have sorted it all out over a nice cup of tea? They could have had a party, or something?

Cambon
A normal night out in a city the size of Boston though.
Slim
Yes its on the interweb...so it must all be true. Eye witnesses reporting via social media on the Internet, official boston police statements and international media reporting from the scene. Yes, it must be true. There has been a lot of FUD around the bombing, the 4chan/reddit 'investigation' and fingering the wrong student included, but the actual reporting of the events has been so overkill it's hard to imagine it being fabricated. Unless that's what the lizard overlords want us to think...

Look at O.J gave himself up and went to court and got found innocent, running and hiding just makes it look worse
