Who would be Lord of Man in this vision of utopia? Tony Blair? Gordon Brown? Nick Clegg? Hmmm. Either the President of Tynwald would assume the duties or a new Lord of Mann would be appointed by Government. Why do we need some English bastard to be Lord of Mann? I'm not sure what difference it makes whether it's an English bastard living here who gets the appointment, or an English bastard living in a palace in England.
