Oh thebees, that disappoints me..... Have you looked at their website?

Let me quote a wee extract:

Our Strategy

GW’s strategy is to maintain a world leading position in the field of cannabinoid science and in the research, development and commercialisation of cannabinoid molecules as novel prescription pharmaceutical therapeutic candidates.

GlaxoSmithKline they are not. Shit, I'm not sure that even makes sense?! Prob ingested too many 'molecules' whilst writing it....

Either way, this is not big pharma setting out their corner, they are as pro green as ChesterVonBongbreath. M'kay.

Grrrrrr, pay attention.

Oh, Chester, Chester, Chester.

That is the thing - there are no peer reviewed medical studies. It's all done by former chemistry BSc's who think that because some shit makes them laugh and want to eat crisps at uni, it somehow holds the key to the worlds health problems. Let's be honest, I'm not even sure that they actually believe there are any health benefits, but if it gets it legalised and they are at the patent end, tally ho!!

Lol indeed. Unfortunately I didn't direct you to the Facebook page, it's a bit useless.

So even when provided with a mountain of peer reviewed medical studies, because it's cannabis and Dalby don't like it, it's seen as not real evidence.

Brainwashed ? Get out of here you time waster with your Lemonade stories.

Surely we're off topic here somewhat.

What is the harm in allowing everyone free access to cannabis, medicinal or recreational? I've never smoked it, I've never smoked. But I do drink a lot of coffee. Some people like to consume a lot of alcohol. Shouldn't alcohol be as tightly controlled -- or more so, than cannabis is?

It's not off topic - it's the whole point of the topic.

Anyway, my point is not that it is particularly harmful when compared to cigarettes and booze (of which I do both), I reckon that I would be happy enough to support legalisation for recreational use (although not for me personally) if it freed up authority time - my point is that it is not going to cure you of thyroid problems, diabetes, tinnitus or autism etc as claimed.

There are loads of cases where cannabis oil has cured cancer, it is not a myth, I posted the GW pharma link because they are some of the few making patents. Whatever anyway.

There are loads of cases where medicine has cured cancer. The cannabis oil is no more of a 'control variable' than my lemonade. Show me one case (just one) where cannabis was the only control (i.e. they weren't receiving established treatments such as chemo or radio) and I'll lick the dog shit from your boot heel but I don't believe it exists.
