Thomas Jefferson
Aborted babies incinerated to heat UK hospitals The bodies of thousands of aborted and miscarried babies were incinerated as clinical waste, with some even used to heat hospitals, an investigation has found. Ten NHS trusts have admitted burning foetal remains alongside other rubbish while two others used the bodies in ‘waste-to-energy’ plants which generate power for heat. Last night the Department of Health issued an instant ban on the practice which health minister Dr Dan Poulter branded ‘totally unacceptable.’ At least 15,500 foetal remains were incinerated by 27 NHS trusts over the last two years alone, Channel 4’s Dispatches discovered. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/10717566/Aborted-babies-incinerated-to-heat-UK-hospitals.html Thank God this disgusting practice has been banned. What sort of soulless and inhuman sicko thought it was a good idea in the first place? It's bad enough that these young human beings are lost or even killed, but to treat their lifeless bodies with such indignity and disrespect really is the lowest of the low. Just because we now live in a so-called post-Christian society doesn't mean we should throw all our morals and ethics out of the window. I hope whomever is responsible is locked up and the key thrown away.
alibaba
What else are you going to do with them? Feed them to the lions? If they are going to be incinerated the waste heat may as well be put to good use. Same with the crem, they should build an old peoples home close to it and heat it for free with the excess heat from the former residents.

HeliX
They should be individually given a proper Christian burial, with a dignified and respectful service. Why? They were never alive to start with.

HeliX
A baby clearly is alive while in its mother's womb. It doesn't just magically become alive at birth. Didn't say it did. But at the time when abortions are carried out the baby isn't alive. Nor is it really a baby yet. It's vaguely more viable than the stuff millions of men fire into tissues weekly. Thomas Jefferson
Religion has nothing to do with it. If we have to get a druid, a rabbi or a secular humanist to do it, then so be it, but let's do it with dignity and respect. I only said Christian because this is, still, a Christian nation and Christian services are more readily available.

Thomas Jefferson
Regardless, it is a potential life, a life which would have been, but has been prevented from being -- deserving of respect and dignity.
