Thomas Jefferson
I believe the Isle of Man needs to keep a low profile and maintain a neutral public position in world politics. We can ill-afford the potential blowback from being seen to be taking sides..

Truth Seeker
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Palestinians, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Palestinian. Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

But knowing our lot, I bet he's running around telling everyone he's from the IOM with an IOM flag and IOM TT t-shirt or something broadcasting it to everyone. Our citizens have just as much responsibility to uphold our good name and represent us appropriately abroad as any government official.

He should stay at home and do nothing other than rant on internet forums. That is a much more sensible and respectable approach.
