Addie
Listening to the news, and the major hacking of Ebay, I opened Ebay to find that there was a message from Ebay's President of Marketplaces. We are told to change our passwords. I'd have to log in to do this, so how do we know if even this is a genuine message or a hacked display. How can we know for sure? I've not been directly contacted - why not? Do we change everything else connected with Ebay, paypal passwords etc. What are you more knowledgeable people doing about this? The database was hacked, not the website. Change your password anywhere you used the same password as the eBay one (which should be nowhere, you should never re-use passwords). NeverAgain
I didn't get a email from ebay, logged into my account and no messages either, I've reset my password anyway as it won't do any harm, had the same password for more or less two years
AcousticallyChallenged
Reset my password but don't use it for anything else. LastPass is a brilliant tool...
