ian rush
I'm looking for three or four original sets of old style black cast iron locks and handles (for stripped pine doors) together with matching keepers for the door frame. For grown ups, the locking units are about 5"x3"x1" in size - that's about 12.5cm x 7.5cmx 2.5cm if you're going to steal some from your parents for me. (As you may be able to guess from my inept description above, I'm having a job trying to find anything on the interweb - if anyone can point me in the right direction using the correct terminology I'd be most grateful) BTW please contact me if you are on the look-out for solid stripped pine doors. I amy have some spare and they've been pretty hard to come by. Replies by PM Cheers
Mission
Try the guy who now has his shop at Glen Maye (in the Waterfall car park area somewhere. Peter is his name. He should be able to source them for you.

ian rush
Thanks for your help. I've deduced that the technical name is a rim lock. Insert your own [single/double] entendre here Mods: this thread can now be deleted if you want
