In Gaza Hamas control the militia, control the strategy and control the funding. Hamas ARE the political environment in Gaza. Big PR play on a school being hit in Gaza this PM. Being sensitive to the negative PR the IDF would only have targeted with due cause. Too much damage to be a swinger that ALWAYS happens - see http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-26511743 for a recent example. Perhaps it's something to do with centuries of persecution. So many of the greatest musicians, composers, and performers of the 20th century for instance, come out of the modern Jewish diaspora, and in particular the Jewish emigration to America.
