spook Posted August 25, 2014 Share Posted August 25, 2014 I have absolutely no doubt that while global climate change may and almost certainly is a cyclical phenomena the actions of mankind are hugely distorting it in many ways ranging from release of fossil captured carbon dioxide to pollution of the biomass and so limiting its ability to dampen down normal cyclical global climate change. The recent apparent stalling of climate change has now been firmly established to thermodynamics within the oceans and the mechanism is now well understood. Denial of anthropic global warming is virtually 100% down to huge lobbying from big corporations with huge vested interests and people not wanting to see the damage their comfortable lifestyles are having on OUR environment, especially people and politicians in the US. Thomas Jefferson Posted August 25, 2014 Author Share Posted August 25, 2014 I can't possibly comment on whether global warming is real or not, but I do think global warming is being used by the ruling elite to push for population control and taking away our liberties; which will culminate, one small step at a time, in the ordinary people being relocated or concentrated into cities (already largely the case for economic reasons) while the countryside becomes off limits to all but the rich. This could take a century or two. Cities will become reservations. We won't be allowed out. This is the natural and obvious next step from the 18th century inclosures of common land, which was itself the obvious next step from the 16th century conviscation of church (communally used) lands.
