I was listening to Radio 4 today and the subject of Cherie Blair came up.

She was presented as a woman single handedly coping with being a

Barrister,

Judge

Full time wife of a Prime Minister

Global traveller

Tireless charity worker

Full time mother of four

Full tme wife ;)

Canny negotiator of property

Etc, etc

Do other women think that all these concurrent roles are really possible?

Myself? I'm beginning to feel totally useless in comparison.

Maybe someone should mention the army of helpers, assistants and other support staff she has - not so "wonder" then...

Isn't it incredible what the BBC will do to preserve the licence fee?

There was a story doing the rounds in which a reporter is said to have asked her “Mrs. Blair, If you hadn’t been married to Tony what position do you think you would now occupy?”

“Oh still the wife of the British Prime Minister!” she replied.

I can’t stand her. ‘Zippy, the Westminster Gargoyle’ is nearly as revolting as the creature that she wed.
