Brian May is a good man. I know of some things he has done very quietly for people at expense to himself. Be great if more people like him were in politics.

 

Roger Taylor is highly regarded here as well, he grew up locally and hasn't left.

Seriously, he comes across as a thoughtful and caring chap. Good luck to him, but I suspect he will not enjoy politics.

 

ETA By 'thoughtful' I mean intellectually astute, not that he opens doors for grannies.

OK but what i want to know is apart from his guitar talent, songwriting ability, building of the red special, musical legacy, Badger protection, philanthropy and work in astrophysics, what has Brian May ever done for us?
