Tame elf god bless him, no longer with us. Paul was a family friend since the 80's, and someone i only met later in life. A very knowledgeable and kind man in my experience of him. Thanks Ive never had an iq test but would happily take one and accept the result. Who knows how smart i am? Probably the teachers who assessed me at 16 would be my guess. But what would they know hey(neil down). As an advanced mature student, i do put my brain to good use dilly, i hope that comforts your concerns. It just rocks their social, cultural, religious ball! Whereas to me, fe means i just get to analyze people, whilst researching the main religious tenets of their belief system. This includes reaching into the bowels of the mainstream scientific and cultural history, and also going where no school curriculum dare trespass, let alone mention. It shows how ignorant, superstitious and easily led into conspiracy people are. Your video of New Zealand is a perfect example of a person who does not think, who does not analyse, who does not challenge his beliefs. If two people observed the moon on the same night in Nashville and New Zealand how much would they expect it to be rotated on a flat earth? On a sphere? Do you have the mental capacity to actually try to work that out? Goodness. The dross flat earthers come out with - even when confronted with the evidence of their own eyes. Ther's a long history of difficulties with g (the "general factor" or general intelligence) as it is attempted to be quantified in IQ tests. Difficulties include: Various biases, including social and race, whereby the questions used to assess IQ can be biased towards the particular social or racial group who determines the questions Fitting IQ results to the normal distribution, which fails to allow for threshold effects in the distribution tails Its historical use by the eugenics movement Its narrow measurement parameters, mainly related to language or spatial reasoning and ignoring creativity and social/emotional intelligence Finally, of course, the main difficulty with the IQ measurement is that anyone that tells you unbidden what their specific "IQ" is, is by definition a bit of a dick.
