Well it worked for them on IOMtoday those comments came down quickly for similar reasons. And let's face it if people standing for public office and their friends are that childish / mental / nasty / bullying / sad they'd want their trail to be deleted so that people thinking of voting don't get a chance to see what they said. She's doing far too well at discrediting herself for anyone else to even be bothered tryimg. Burns has become the Manx version of SNP's Sturgeon (in her own mind) but without the necessary political background and ability. Unqualified, unequipped, unpredictable, and unwanted except by those who simply want what they want but have no idea how it should be paid for. What a joke. Shame it's in such bad taste. Shame you don't get a vote living in the UK LOL! I 'get a vote' over here but if I was living on the Island in the constituency that Burns is standing in even though I do have a sense of humour there is no way that in good consciousness vote for Burns. Burns is just far too removed from competence, ability, and experience to be elected to public office. The very fact that Burns is, without any political experience or knowledge, standing for a seat in The Keys clearly shows just what a very bad candidate she is. In your eyes. The intent clearly seems to be to up the ante to get it deleted so that the public can no longer see the pure crassness and nastiness embodied in the tactics of the campaign. This really is baseline awful. Really, seriously, dreadful in all respects. How anyone seeking a public mandate for a serious role in government can conduct an online campaign in this way is quite incredible.
