Ian de-gestion
I have now listened to the interview - I'm sorry Wann but you and I must have listened to a different interview, to me she had nothing of substance to say. She has now changed her LinkedIn profile to show that she actually stopped working for Poker stars in 2011 rather than 2015. One thing that does confuse me is that the same profile claims she worked for Online Casino's from 2011 to April 2015. (I have a copy of the newly updated profile too) Her husband claimed only a couple of months ago (I think a screen print of which is available on this thread) that she earns more money through her job than an MHK So why did she say on the radio this morning, when questioned about being a homemaker, that during the "past few years it was better for her to stay at home and raise my child than not be there full time" I have no problem with stay at home mums I have no problems with working mums I do have a problem when people don't tell the truth to suit their purposes though. Which is it Amy? Which is correct - your LinkedIn profile or your claim that you are a homemaker? I noticed that as well. She is telling porkies! Her manifesto dropped through my door a couple of days ago. My name is Amy Burns, I am a 32 year old woman who was born and raised in the Isle of Man. A possible credibility issue????? woolley
Spook, ''....Vile Woman...''. I hardly think so. But that's Spook. You have to see where he's coming from to get his drift. It's all or nothing. He just goes a bit OTT with hyperbole and uses the same words of damnation for someone he finds mildly disagreeable as he does for a murderous despot. No grey. Teddy Smith
Manx Radio Mandate Listen Again. The interview starts at 23:20 Below is a recording of the interview with added onto the end two clips containing listener replies read out on air: 20150514 Mandate Amy Burns plus replies 32.mp3 I thought amy was very good. She would add another much needed dimension into the House of Keys and Tynwald It was interesting to note that Amy Burns posted on her facebook past recently that she wouldn't work for a Government Department, but this morning she had a change of heart? She needs to be clear on what she is telling the people of Douglas South. I certainty didn't like her comments about Kate Beecroft. Mrs. Burns has a lot to learn

oldmanxfella
Interview on Mandate AM available now. Wow. Quite - she's not a 'Yes man' apparently according to her interview. I had noticed that she was not a man but I'm glad she cleared that up for the avoidance of doubt. Mr Sausages - a copy of the birth cert could be interesting for many reasons. Should she need to prove she was actually born here?
Albert Tatlock
I don't like her no cuts policy. Sounds like she'll support bloated govt.

Surely there is a need for both. Having said that, she wasn't the car crash I was expecting.
