Amy's in the race!

I have now listened to the interview - I'm sorry Wann but you and I must have listened to a different interview, to me she had nothing of substance to say.

She has now changed her LinkedIn profile to show that she actually stopped working for Poker stars in 2011 rather than 2015.

One thing that does confuse me is that the same profile claims she worked for Online Casino's from 2011 to April 2015. (I have a copy of the newly updated profile too)

Her husband claimed only a couple of months ago (I think a screen print of which is available on this thread) that she earns more money through her job than an MHK

So why did she say on the radio this morning, when questioned about being a homemaker, that during the "past few years it was better for her to stay at home and raise my child than not be there full time"

I have no problem with stay at home mums

I have no problems with working mums

I do have a problem when people don't tell the truth to suit their purposes though.

Which is it Amy? Which is correct - your LinkedIn profile or your claim that you are a homemaker?

I noticed that as well. She is telling porkies!

Her manifesto dropped through my door a couple of days ago.

My name is Amy Burns, I am a 32 year old woman who was born and raised in the Isle of Man.

A possible credibility issue?????

I seem to remember at the start of all this her LinkedIn page saying she had a degree in law. I didn't take a screenshot as I had no reason not to believe her, after all, who would be devious enough to claim such a thing if it weren't true? It fails to appear on her profile now along with her lengthy tenure at Pokerstars. A clerical error perhaps?

Good evening all. Just thought I would pop in and say thanks for all the feedback. I haven't had time to catch up as I've been and will be extremely busy but feel free to email me anytime. Just a couple of answers to questions yes I was born in the isle of man and raised in the isle of man. And tattymcgee my wonderful friend 😊 I dropped De-Yoxall in 2004 when I married my husband. It was on facebook for networking with school friends who didn't realise I was married and had a new name. Not quite sure what your desperate interest is in that? In fact I find it rather odd all women who get married take their husbands name 😊 enjoy I am off for some more canvasing

there was also on her FB a "to present" emplyment at Manx Telecom. Although I think that was removed about the same time the "tabbing" statement came out

Is this not true?

I suppose it's not impossible, she might have been born and raised there 5 years before her family moved there.

Like I say, not impossible.

I think you've pissed her off

Probably. Strange though how up there someone calls her "Vial" and that is bypassed and I am singled out again for my tongue in cheek comments. Very much the same as what Microchips did. Work that one out :P:D

Interview on Mandate AM available now.

Wow.

Quite - she's not a 'Yes man' apparently according to her interview. I had noticed that she was not a man but I'm glad she cleared that up for the avoidance of doubt.

Mr Sausages - a copy of the birth cert could be interesting for many reasons. Should she need to prove she was actually born here?

I'd be surprised if we got to see her birth certificate, or her 12 GCSE certificate for that matter.

Good to see you on here Amy, but be careful with your answers as things quite often get misconstrued.

I would guess that there's a 60/40 opposition against you on this topic here as people react in different ways and some of the comments can be quite cutting.

Generalisations on here do not favour well and to say that all the members are Lib Vans, read The Mail, England said as the mainland or worse still, say that you're from Norfolk (Spook laugh.png )

But dive in if you dare although you should expect a strong criticism to begin with, especially as to how you react to the many questions posed and probably all at once.

Personally, I would leave MF until after the elections unless you feel strong enough to handle some troll type comments along the way.

If she was called vial then she should be transparent.

Born on the Isle of Man...razed on Manx Forums.

Very good Albert - your best for quite a while.
You've obviously missed a few :)

Perhaps I'm just stupid.
