goddess
.The Dutch are proving it isnt necessary to accept Trump's nonsense. The Dutch Government is to establish an international contraception and abortion fund. http://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/2017/01/25/netherlands-counters-trump-international-abortion-fund
rmanx
http://edition.cnn.com/2017/01/27/politics/trump-plans-to-sign-executive-action-on-refugees-extreme-vetting/ There are a few ways of looking at this. One way is to view it as a sort of admission that bombing countries may lead citizens of those countries to seek revenge. The 9/11 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia. The Boston Marathon bombers were from Russia. Countries where Trump does business are not hit by new travel restrictions - The Washington Post Its almost as if he is using his position to his own gain.... Andy Onchan
Well, he's done most of what he said he would do..... why does it come as a surprise to some people? Heavens above... a politician honouring his pledges. Whatever next?
the stinking enigma
http://edition.cnn.com/2017/01/27/politics/trump-plans-to-sign-executive-action-on-refugees-extreme-vetting/ There are a few ways of looking at this. The Boston Marathon bombers were from Russia. Countries where Trump does business are not hit by new travel restrictions - The Washington Post I'm not sure even trump thinks he can prevent terrorist attacks that happened years ago. This move is to prevent future ones, and they are most likely to come from places they have been bombing

Heavens above... a politician honouring his pledges. Whatever next? No he is doing what he said he would do, but not in the way he said he would. Yes, he's building a wall...but the American taxpayer is paying for it, it will cost anywhere upto 4-5 times what he said it would cost, and he has no sensible way of making Mexico pay for it. Yes, he is banning Muslims, but not from majority Muslim countries that he does business with. He promised a lot, but is peddling snake oil all the while. Mr. Sausages
Well, he's done most of what he said he would do..... why does it come as a surprise to some people? Heavens above... a politician honouring his pledges. Whatever next? The quote often trotted out to explain his success during the election campaign was "his supporters take him seriously but not literally, while his detractors take him literally but not seriously". Well I guess his supporters had better get used to taking him literally. So just a few weeks until we find out his secret plan to quickly wipe out ISIS.

It has to be admitted that Trump's ham-fisted and inarticulate way of putting his point over doesn't do him any favours. As far as the Muslim issue is concerned it seems to me that the Administration are using existing laws to restrict/refuse entry to USA. As at January 2016 there were 23 "recalcitrant" countries and Yemen is the only country that I can see that needs adding to the list. Frankly linking this to his business interests to this is a red herring.

woody2
rtard it was obama's list of the countries that are a risk to the usa, complied well before trump took office
Mr. Sausages
To be fair every US administration has turned a blind eye to Saudi Arabia. It's what ISIS wants to be, but has the oil that the US's economy is dependent on. So the west ignores it all, and sells it weapons.
rmanx
rtard it was obama's list of the countries that are a risk to the usa, complied well before trump took office Have you got any sources for that claim? I tried and could only find links to right wing blogs and right wing leaning "news" articles in minor outlets.

Yet another random, context-less woody2 post... rtard- just facts, many "asylum seekers" have been caught out by holidaying in the county they claim their life was at risk in.....
