He'll be under pressure from the Saudi's. Maybe his aim is to poke the hornet's nest, with Israel in the middle. Maybe it's inevitable? Perhaps all-out, face to face war between the big-hitters in the Middle East is the most expedient route to dragging the area into the 21st century, wiping-out the Islamists and uniting the Arabs. Israeli media have recently been trumping-up the IDF's state-of-readiness for war, with aggressive words from senior IDF general's...

Trump May Ban US Firms From Cooperating With Huawei. The developments come after the US reportedly urged its allies in November to abandon the use of Huawei due to security concerns.

The International Centre for Technology is set to be opened in mid-2015 by the Manx Educational Foundation (MEF) in collaboration with HP and Huawei and it is hoped that its 40 acre campus will be used to test 5G technology.

How will this affect relations with US companies?

Here in my dimension it's already 2019.

Then again - my lot celebrated the Millennium in what you call 1979. Timezones are so confusing sometimes.

You are correct pongo and had to include the year so that people are aware that the Government was looking at introducing this into the public domain without consulting them which IMO, was irresponsible and might open themselves to legal action in the future. Basically, no product should be introduced into the public domain without having been fully safety tested and using people as guinea pigs for testing purposes is not on whether its in this country or anywhere else!

Safe communication technology yes, unknown communication technology then No.

Looks like the reality of the Drumpf presidency is finally starting to sink in for some Trumpeters...

I wonder if there will be such a "light bulb" moment for the Brexiteers...

I'm glad you balanced your links, reliable vs unreliable sources.

I suppose depending which end of the political spectrum you sit on, either one can be the reliable/unreliable source.

I think they are all sprinkled with a little bit of reliability. Depends then just how far they expand on it.
