March 2016 SCJ Antonin Scalia died, Obama proposed Merrick Garland, the republicans led by Moscow Mitch fought hard screaming 'It's too close to the election' and got their way. Precedent set you might think, but no, Mitch is there again, closer to an election this time 'We will press on with a new Trump appointment'. Pretty outrageous really. I should've clarified, I mean they don't give a shit about their elected officials being morally fair. The left is held to the standards it tries to meet. As is the right.
