This is going to be fun, he's already said 'you can't incite what was always going to happen' because it was an antifa plot. He’ll get away with it because the “jury” is made up of republicans. The criminal trials for trying to interfere with an election, and tax evasion, might be a different outcome. I read they backtracked because the republicans threatened to call 300 of their own, completely block the senate, do nothing on the covid relief bill and refuse to confirm any more of the Biden cabinet.
