The really depressing thing is that the criminal charges actually appear to have boosted his ratings. Now he can play the card of being a victim of the establishment/the democrats. If it was their hope that this would clip his wings, it looks horribly like it may back-fire massively. Incredible to think back to an era when many respectable Democrats supported Reagan - the so called Reagan Democrats. As many have previously noted, the US is in a state of Cold Civil War. Britain is the same: GB News, Brexit, the anti-lockdown nonsense, immigration protests etc. We even see it here in the anti-govt spending threads and the Covid conspiracy nonsense. And we can be certain that the real research is happening on the military side. Soon the kill decision will be an algorithm.
