Another 5mm and he’d have gone from being a live martyr who is still a persistent threat to the rest of the world and a harmless dead martyr like JFK. Who’s laughing at the assassination? I could show you videos right now of trump mocking pelosi’s husband. Trump “reminding” people of the second amendment in relation to Hilary Clinton. Fox News presenters mocking pelosi’s husband. Trump supporters openly calling for the hanging of trump’s vp. Trump telling people to “get over” shootings. The race to the bottom was a no contest. We dodged the bullet first time, because his administration was chaotic and unprepared for government, and even then it ended with a mob storming the Capital Building to overturn the election result. Because of what he has already said about withdrawing support for Ukraine, and the US exiting NATO, and for him clearly being in the back pocket of Putin because he is a wannabe billionaire who actually has no money who will do anything for the highest bidder. And really just for the plain nasty, divisive, abusive political culture he has created. Not to mention his support for the storming of Capitol Buildings as the great big baby lost the election. Covid seriously restrained him last time as the world stood still for two years of his Presidency. Somewhat ironically the shooter was using an AR-15 the weapon he and the Republicans have fought so hard to try to keep legal despite 50,000 Americans dying every year in shooting incidents. To such an extent that items like aid tranches to Ukraine are having to be "future proofed" with legislation in case of a Trump presidency. Which reminds me that a poster on here recently announced that the USA was "the most successful democracy on the planet" which made me wonder what criteria they were using? The heaviest sentence against those who stormed the Capitol was 22 years for Henry Tarrio the leader of the Proud Boys militia. Incidentally in Nov 2021 the flambouyantly horned "QAnon Shaman" got 41 months. For genuine contrition and good behaviour he was released in May 2023. Trump as yet nothing. Last week the US Supreme Court ruled to remove large serious parts of the indictment against Trump for his part in the Capitol riot. Now the US judiciary are political appointees. In this case six Republicans and three Democrats. The ruling went 6-3 in Trumps favour. "What an amazing coincidence!" I hear you say.
