The left have gone totally bonkers. I have friends who are nearly foaming at the mouth over it (including one who did actually get so angry in the pub he got them little white specks of spittle in the corner of the mouth that normally only deranged people get). There are implications beyond him blathering like a moron on Twitter, that can and may affect every person on the planet. But by all means, sit back and laugh. By giving those who oppose or do not share you view a title or label, it makes it easier to pigeon hole that person. Once you have that, you can start attributing traits and qualities to that "group", and then it allows straw men and only good German style put downs.
