The entire history of the Raj is punctuated by factional wars. Didn't everyone do this in history at school?
P.K.
One of the reasons the Raj worked so well was because of the Indian Caste system. It meant their society was already structured much as the British class system was. The British understood that only too well and promptly put themselves up as the top tier. "Job Done" sticker. Harry Sachz
No just someone who speaks the truth. The British Empire started off for the wrong reasons (money) but later on when Britain became more of a democracy the empire really was all altruistic and about civilising the world. The only reason it ended was because we were spending so much money on making other countries better that we started running out of money. We have a lot to be proud of.
