If this weeks cycle fest had an incident like the one in the original link, how long do you think it would be before everyone was screaming ''no more cycle fest''? I thought the point was quite simple. I think people would see it as a public order offence and expect those responsible to punished. There might be some anti-cyclists would use it to continue their gripe against all things Lycra. To be honest there's usually a similar incident at most TTs (on a small scale admittedly) of people who've had too much to drink being dicks.
