Jezebel Posted September 18, 2016 Share Posted September 18, 2016 if you want your soldered connection to be reliable for some time, i would completely avoid a plumbers solder paste. soo corrosive!!. if you do end up using a paste, make sure that you thoroughly clean the joint and pcb afterwards, otherwise you will get trouble later on. if you really need to use a flux then get a no-clean flux dispensing pen from somewhare like maplins.....
