It wont be just adult sites. Soon it will be anything the Government deems "unsuitable".

 

Satire sites ripping on the Government, web content from countries that the Gov doesn't like, anything that could remotely be seen as seditious...

 

The Governement is trying to police the digital frontier by building a wall around it. And we all know how successful walls are...

Impressive just how little media coverage this got.

 

But then that's the point. Distract the masses with nonsense (Brexit, I'm a Celeb, X-Factor) and then they'll never notice what is going on.

Do people really care, though? Even if they are not distracted, many are not at all security minded, even for sensitive data or financial transactions. And corporate data users themselves hardly have a good record of looking after the confidential records of others. Banks, shops, governments have all been implicated. Will they become any more animated about their browsing history?
