Its good to see Theresa May is keeping one of the most important and fractious events in UK history on the back burner to get to the real important business of weighing in on the Cadburys Easter Hunt scandal....

You do know the Prime Minister doesn't do everything don't you? Has someone informed you of this?

But the report divided the cross-party committee, with some members saying it was too pessimistic about Brexit.

Some MPs walked out of a private meeting of the committee as the report was being finalised

.But they were outnumbered by Labour, Liberal Democrat, SNP and SDLP committee members, all of whom backed Remain in last year's referendum.

Mr Whittingdale said he thought the report was "unduly negative" and had "very much concentrated on the problems without really recognising the opportunities" of Brexit.

Mr Raab added: "The report was rushed, skewed and partisan. After two reports that had strong support, it's regrettable that this one split the committee.

"That undermines its credibility and influence, but I hope and expect the committee will learn the right lessons as we move forward."

facts...

Yes, committee wasn't fully in agreement on some items, nevertheless, the report by The National, was word for word lifted from the parliamentary report, that is incontrovertibly a fact. That is what we're currently arguing about. A simple apology is fine and we can move on.

"snp force change to unenforceable report that may must respond to snp's unreasonable demands over eu"

fact....

Did The National report verbatim the words in that report?

its fakenews thicko....

That's your statement, not a quote.

And everyone else's. Just like Sturgeon.

Come on woolley. I think you'd agree there are reasonable posters on here who can agree to disagree on things and there are posters who refuse to accept anything that someone else posts. I don't agree with some things you post, and presume you don't agree with some of my views, but I think we are both adult enough to accept that people have different points of view. Those who are needlessly repetitive, abusive, or simply moronic in their response bring nothing to the debate.

You're boring everyone with this crap. The above is in fact untrue.

What is true is that my earlier link from The National was 100% accurate. Fake News /= stuff you don't like.

So, again...

Did The National report verbatim the words in that report?

Grow up.

@ mojomomkey: Totally agree with the sentiment and have posted in that vein on many occasions over the years. The worst instances are where they get off the subject altogether and carry on for page after page simply hurling expletives at each other. Really, what IS the point? We KNOW what you think of each other, but you certainly are never going to prove it on here.

However, I think it is a different matter to interject actually on topic as I did in this instance. I do think the Scot Nat whining about an indyref2 is naked opportunism of the worst kind because I am fairly certain they would take independence at any price, and the apparently beloved EU comes a long way down their list of priorities in reality. So I do think that Sturgeon is wasting everyone's time as is Fatty here.

You can't disagree with Woolley (or Woody2 or Quilp for that matter) or have a reasonable debate on Brexit or almost any other matter as he's clearly a sad blinkered Englishman who has clearly spent the last 20 years getting a stiffy about the prospect of the British Empire taking control again and the English being victorious over the Fuzzy Wuzzy's once more. The ultimate reality of the situation the UK and the IOM now find themselves in will never get a fair debate amongst the boring, repetitive, tunnel vision on show.

Despite this it's quite easy to bait the bores just to hear their fucking stupid views on the subject time, and time, and time, again at ever increasing volume.

Needless to say, I see the precise mirror image of that in each and every one of your posts. This is all entirely subjective. I believe in strong independent nation states co-operating with each other for mutual benefit. I don't believe in one-size-fits all mediocrity and rule by bureaucratic committee tied up in red tape.
