Other people I couldn't give a stuff about. What is it with your focus on the English? Do the "indigenous British" of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland not matter to you or perhaps you see them as "foreigners" and that they should be excluded from England? The more I read some of your posts the more convinced I am that you are a troll trying to fill the vacuum left by another crazed brexiteer.

The reason for my concentration on England is that I am English born plus it's English taxes that subsidise to the point of funding Scotland and Wales. It's also that it's the English way of life that has been so damaged by the EU. I spent my early years on the island in fact from around eighteen months to my late teens hence my ongoing interest in where I grew up. Great, so you are English born, live in England, pay English taxes so why the hell are you on Manxforums discussing brexit? Surely there must be a more suitable forum for you? Other people I couldn't give a stuff about. What about those Brits who live in an EU state having retired there after a lifetime contributing in THEIR country? 1

You did a little but you are talking about the benefits, as you see them, of Brexit for the English and have expressed a disinterest in the Scots, Welsh and Northern Irish. Personally the more I hear from you and your "England for the English" nonsense the more in favour I become of the Isle of Man becoming independent and throwing of the shackles of Westminster and truly becoming the "throne of home rule". You'd need to get approval from HM The Queen first!

That's up to them. They made their choice. In any case any taxes paid went to the budget year in which they paid those taxes.

In any case in spite of the misbehaviour of The Sussexes the monarchy is very popular over here.
ballaughbiker
Quote That's up to them. They made their choice. Wow...never saw that coming ; Have you ever considered they may still be paying UK tax and have paid NI for healthcare and pension rights that they have had since. They made their choice because you f.ed it up and thousands are now very worried in case of no deal as they won't have anywhere near the specified minimum annual income the foreign gov will now insist on. But you have already made it clear you don't give a shit about anyone not indigenous Englanders in little England. I really hoped Godfrey Bloom was a one off..... In the unlikely event that they have been paying their dues to the UK they have nothing to worry about. If not, they would have known the consequences of not doing so their choice. Really. Some may still think that I'm trolling - WRONG. Nor am I unusual in my opinions, not by any means. BREXIT is a sea change in British politics, on long needed and now with a decent prime minister and government will now set about cleaning the toxic effects of Socialism and socialist influence from Westminster and so will see that sea change get under way.
