It's very bad for our democracy that the tories effectively removed any parliamentary oversight of the Brexit Withdrawal Bill which means it will not get debated and now they only want nodding dogs in their press releases. It's almost as though they've got something to hide....

The electorate gave its verdict on the shenanigans employed by backsliding MPs in December and all of those who stood as independents against the will of the people expressed in the referendum are now toast. Every one of them lost their seat. The bonus is that the insufferable Bercow with his 'novel' interpretations of Parliamentary procedure is history too. Do you get the message of the time yet?

As I have posted before all the brexiteers claims that parliament was determined to stop brexit are, in my view, ridiculous. It was always going to happen and all the delays were mostly down to the infighting in the tory party. For years and years the party was split about it and remained so. Don't forget twice Johnson voted against May's deal. Got that?

My view on the brexit farrago is based entirely on what took place. It's called "Management By Fact" and maybe you should try it.... I don't believe in socialism because their holistic approach to social welfare leads to exclusion i.e. it's self defeating.
