Rumour has it that tomorrow the UK will be making some minor alterations (backsliding) on it's legally binding International Agreement it signed last year.

Possibly need to check your facts.

What part of the word "rumour" is it you don't understand? :)

Puzzled myself as the UK isn't part of the budget meeting.

The political declaration on the future relationship is not a legally binding international agreement. That was the bit you needed to check.

bj has already said he'll also send the withdrawal agreement back as well.......

Well, crashing out would be a good result for Johnson's backers.

But I suspect it's just another populist sop to the UK ridiculously rabid right wing press and their cretinous readership.

So Johnson claims, after the stupidly pathetic non-existent deal the EU has not got with Australia, that a deal like Canada is the preferred choice.

After all the bollox bombast about EU regs a close look at a CETA synopsis is in order.

Especially the last paragraph:

he's lying........

Michel Barnier: UK can't have Canada trade deal with EU

"A trade agreement that includes in particular fishing and includes a level playing field, with a country that has a very particular proximity - a unique territorial and economic closeness - which is why it can't be compared to Canada or South Korea or Japan."

the whole point of a fta is distance doesn't matter......

Would you please explain the reasoning behind your last statement.

Thanks.

PS - don't accuse Barnier of lying - he's not a brexiteer...
