Oh what fun! An actual adult trying to defend populist political bollox. Got to be plenty of mileage in this....

Hard to criticize or argue against popularism when it comes to government. It's democracy incarnate.

The majority of the UK population voted for other parties. The Tory Government won due to the first past the post voting system and therefore in accordance with UK election rules, however, that does not mean that th emajority of the UK population wanted them. we have seen your type of politics for the last 4 years and now the public has had it say...... a win is a win....... The majority of the population have returned to the UK Parliment the party who offered, and are delivering what the majority of the population decided that they want. What an appallingly facile statement. Populist so-called politics is about getting elected by promoting stupidly simple hollow slogans in such a way that they con the electorate into thinking that they can solve extremely difficult and complicated issues. Of course, when the extremely difficult and complicated issues actually need fixing hollow slogans unsurprisingly fail spectacularly to produce the result the electorate were promised. Johnson's ridiculous "Get brexit done" is a very good case in point. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence knows that to "Get brexit done" will take months and very probably years to achieve. Almost certainly without the result the electorate were conned into voting for. It's just pathetic....

Rog
11 hours ago, P.K. said: Translation please. Do you REALLY need it explaining? OK. The EU has continued to morph towards the United States of Europe which is intended to become a sovereign entity like the USA is and the USSR was. The majority of the British people saw this in addition to what was being done to our independence and sovereignty and rightly wanted nothing to do with it hence BREXIT.
