There are  some, I'm told , who still think that  Blair was a socialist and Branson is an ethical business man

Who on earth fed them that nonsense?

It's almost as stupid as claiming some £350m a week extra will go into the NHS.

Wow! You would have to be really thick to believe that one...!

Is there any reason you keep repeating the same phrase over and over again?

It also seems that it was the people who live under the changes for the least amount of time that were more inclined to vote for Brexit:

Very simple really.  Older people remember that what the EU is now is a very long way from the EEC that we joined in the 70s and don't like what they see.  It was supposed to be a mutually beneficial trading bloc, not a bloated bureaucracy topped with unelected and unaccountable empire builders who are pushing hard for a federal European super state.

Let me put a hypothetical question to you all:

If the likes of Juncker, Tusk and Barnier were to stand for election to political office in your area, whether it be the IOM or the UK, would you vote for them?  If yes, it would be interesting to know why and perhaps even more interesting if the answer was no.

I'm going to tune out for a while as the ongoing and serious medical situation with my father is using up most of my mental energy, so over to you lot.

Eh?

Someone (paswt?) mentioned Blair earlier so I thought I would use one of his favourite mantras on Hypocrite.

Simple as....

I think you’re losing your marbles with your repeated ranting. Age is a bugger isn’t it.

You’re starting to make yourself look rather silly now.

That's rich coming from you...!

That post of yours really did make me laugh. Bitching and moaning about folks taking NHS funding and in the same post admitting you used to do exactly that.

Classic!

You’re clearly not very bright. But then again anyone who has dealt with you in the public domain can attest to that anyway.

There’s nothing hypocritical about saying I made a load of cash out of NHS incompetence many years ago and which is why I say I don’t think it should receive any more funding without reform, because the money flows out of it in inefficiencies and doesn’t reach the areas where it’s needed.

I’ll leave it there. Don’t bother stalking me with another reply, I’m sure the thread has been derailed enough.

It means not delivering all of the promises made to the electorate.  E.g. £350m per week to the NHS.  Looks like Tony's getting his way.

its already getting more than £350m extra a week since the vote.....

This vote on the final deal has me puzzled.

If parliament votes against it do we stay in the EU or do we crash out with no deal?

depends on the bill still to be passed but from the eu's view the it would be leaving with no deal unless the 27 agree to an extension...
