That analogy doesn't fit the situation. Both sides have grenades with pins intact and they need not to hurt each other. I think whatever is ailing PK is contagious. But that's not an answer. I was interested to be informed who was going to get "bent over," by whom, and why you think it will be the UK. This isn't some sort of tit-for-tat game, it was always going to be swings and roundabouts. Compromise...

The lack of planning and leadership is the equivalent of throwing the pin and keeping the grenade.

The UK is going to get bent over with unfavourable agreements by the EU (and the rest of the world come "negotiation" time with those states). The UK is a confused, directionless, leadership nation that does know what it wants or how to get it. They really are pathetic aren't they? We are back to "We're useless, we're hopeless, it's all too difficult, we can't survive without Mummy EU looking after us in Brussels." This is one of the most advanced and wealthy societies on the planet. It can run itself and make its own way in the world successfully - and it can negotiate its own arrangements with others without being "bent over". Unless we are going to send defeatists such as PK and Richard to negotiate, that is.

quilp
Yeah yeah, I acquiesce. But you must admit to having this morbid, defeatist attitude to brexit which I can't get my head around. Can't understand why, unless it's just your politics overbearing your judgement...
